Centered around guitarist Jung Ji-won, formerly active in Batu, this project brings together vocalist Lim Jun of Chilbojang, bassist Cha Jong-woon of singer-songwriter Sumbi’s band, recording session guitarist Jeon Gwang-ho, and drummer Park Pyeonghwa, who previously performed with Orange Fang Fang Boys.

At first glance, their musical worlds may seem unrelated. Yet in the end, they converge into a single genre: hard rock.

For musicians with such diverse backgrounds, declaring a revival of hard rock is a natural progression. They carry the ambition to reinterpret the classic hard rock sound of the past through a modern sensibility, and their first single, “LOOK FORWARD,” stands as a statement of intent — an opening declaration of their hard rock revival.

The hard rock revival pursued by Tequila Old Fashioned is not merely about restoring a musical style. Their focus lies in delivering the emotions and messages embedded in hard rock to a contemporary audience. Through this track, they hope listeners will find the courage to rise again and rediscover the true appeal of hard rock.
